Who is Food For The Poor? It is one of the largest humanitarian aid organizations in the United States, operating primarily in Latin America (with operations in 17 Latin American countries) and the Caribbean. Since 1982, it has channeled resources exceeding $12 billion dollars in aid.
Meals served: More than 4.4 billion
Homes built: Nearly 100,000 households
Delivery of over 100,000 containers filled with essential supplies (food, medicine, educational materials)
An average annual distribution of $800 million to $1 billion dollars in humanitarian aid
95% of all donations raised go directly to aid programs
